The compounds are used in the chemical industry as organic luminophores with intensive luminescence. The asymmetric azines have the following general formula:<IMAGE>where X represents hydrogen, lower alkyl, alkoxyl, dialkylamino, alkyl-(2-cyanoethyl)amino, 1-pyrrolidinyl, 1-piperidyl, 4-morpholyl, formyl, halogen or nitro. According to the method, the hydrazine of 1-phenyl-3-methyl-4-acetyl-5-pyrazolone reacts with benzaldehyde or with one of its 4-substituted derivatives.
