摘要 Mechanism in steel prodn. plants actuates two draw bars pressing the lance against a connector head. Each draw bar (16, 16') has a separate reduction gear (42, 42') in its own housing and an integrated lifting spindle system. Each gear (42, 42') being mounted on its own load cell (34, 34'). The aligned main shafts of the gears (42, 42') are joined by means of a coupling to compensate their possible relative axial, radial and angular displacement. The reduction gears (42, 2') are supported on the carriage (46) of the motor lance change mechanism by means of torque props (44, 44'). The drive motor (28) is followed by a preliminary reduction gear (30). The gear (30) a slip-on gear with a torque prop (50 has its hollow output shaft slipped on the input end of the main shaft of one of the reduction gears (42, 42'). The torque prop. (50) is supported on a load cell, which switches off the drive motor (28) if inadmissably high loads arise in the drive system. An elastic buffer is located between the torque prop (50) and this load cell to prevent unwanted spontaneous switch-offs of the motor. There is also an electric buffer system between the torque prop (50) and the carriage (46) and an end switch which is actuated by the prop (50) if a certain predetermined torque is reached. USE/ADVANTAGE - The drive can be used in the metallurgical industry. Separate reduction gears with their own housings eliminate the need of a special reduction gear unit for the draw bar drive and misalignment problems inherent in gear units with a common housing are eliminated.
