METHOD FOR PRODUCING OF STIMULATION EFFECT ANTIBIOTIC

The method is applicable in the livestock industry. It is used for preparation of a new antibiotic stimulating the growth of chickens. According to the method, a strain of Streptomyces sp.A-8 (registered in the National Bank for Industrial Microorganisms and Cell Cultures (NBIMCC) under No. 1877) is cultivated within a nutrient medium, containing assimilatable sources of carbon and nitrogen. The active substance is isolated through extraction from the native solution and the mycelium, followed by column chromatographic purification, concentration and precipitation.
