The invention concerns a pulse wheel for a device designed to measure the rotational speed of a rotating component, the wheel being rigidly connected to the rotating component, having counting zones distributed uniformly on it in the direction of rotational motion and acting in conjunction with a sensor (3). The aim of the invention is both to improve the stability of the wheel and to make it possible to produce the counting zones using simple manufacturing equipment. This is achieved by virtue of the fact that the counting zones are produced as pulse-producing surface features (2, 6, 7 or 8) which are welded, soldered or adhesively bonded to a disc-shaped support element (1 or 5).
