PURPOSE:To perform air-cooling operation for a room by taking in the outdoor air at night in summer time when the atmospheric temperature is low, as well as to shut out outdoor noise, by providing an air flow passage for air-cooling operation by outdoor air in order to take in the outdoor air from an air intake for air-cooling operation by outdoor air to feed it into the room in a season when an air-cooling operation by outdoor air is possible. CONSTITUTION:A primary damper 33 is closed and a secondary damper 35 is opened while both ventilating dampers 40, 41 are opened before an air conditioning operation with ventilation takes place by circulating cold water or not water through a heat exchanger 28 and by ventilating air. At night is summer time or in the intermediate season when an air-cooling operation by outdoor air is possible, the ventilating dampers 40, 41 are closed and the secondary damper 35 is closed too, while the primary damper 33 is opened as shown by an arrow sign D. In this state a fan 29 is driven. Then the outdoor air is sucked from a chamber air intake 19, passing through an opening 50 as shown by an arrow sign E, and from a air intake 32 for air-cooling operation by outdoor air, via the fan 29, passing through the heat exchanger 28 in which circulation of cooling water or heating water is stopped and diffused from an indoor diffuser port 22 to cool the air in a room. With such an arrangement economical air-cooling effect can be obtained, besides outdoor noise scarcely gets into the room. |
