Connected to a drive outside the housing (5) of the pulse generator is a spindle carrying a toothed pinion (7) with a vertical leaf spring (12) clamped at the top (13) and with its free end engaging the teeth (16) and oscillated by it. This oscillation is transferred to two contact blades (25, 26) anchored at the bottom (27, 26) and supported nearly vertically each side of the housing. The leaf spring passes through slots (22, 23) in a horizontal double slider (41, 42), reiprocating it between end guides (19). This has further slots (39, 40) for the blades, so that contacts (33, 34) on their free ends are reciprocated between pairs of fixed contacts (35, 36; 37, 38).
