A crosspiece, provided with a connecting piece 5, which has not been made in a normal moulding process, such as a compression process, can be produced in a simple manufacturing process such that it is strong and secure. The crosspiece comprises a pair of leaves 3, 4, which have been moulded separately. In one leaf 3 or 4, a connecting bracket 8 projects from the connecting piece 5a and is provided with a gripping channel or with a plurality of gripping channels 9. In the second leaf 4 or 3, a connecting hole 10 has been drilled in the second connecting piece 5b. Consequently, the connecting bracket 8 engages in the connecting hole 10. Some of the material of the second leaf 4 is thereafter plastically deformed and it flows to the connecting channels 9 in order thereby to bind the leaves 3, 4 together to form the desired crosspiece frame 1. <IMAGE> |
