<p>PURPOSE:To reduce image deterioration of an actual machine by eliminating the need for high machining precision for a lens array and a holder, easily fixing them in a short period after focus adjustment, and assembling the print head without any adjustment and easily incorporating it in the actual machine. CONSTITUTION:When the lens array 10 is incorporated in a holder 12, a reference surface 12b for fitting to a printer is pressed against a stopper and positioned at the same position as the print head fitting position of the printer. A CCD sensor array 34 provided at a photosensitive drum position of a printer detects an image of a test pattern 32, provided at the printer pattern generation position of the printer, which is formed by the lens array. The lens array is finely moved to and away from the holder independently in the optical axis direction independently at 42 different positions in the length direction, the position relation between the both is so adjusted that the output of the CCD sensor array becomes maximum, and they are fixed.</p> |
