PURPOSE:To make high precision line equalization possible by taking the difference between the output from a reference waveform derivating means and the output from an equivalent arithmetic means to generate an error signal. CONSTITUTION:Based on the input from the A/D converter 1 sampled at a clock of nf which is n times the data modulation rate f and an error signal E, equivalent arithmetic means 2 carries out equalization adatively at a clock frequency of nf. The output from this means 2 is thinned out by a thinout means 3, and as a result, when the output rate nf of a means 2 is converted into receiving data modulation rate f and is output, while at the same time the output is supplied to a reference waveform derivatin means 4. Further, based on the difference in output between means 4 and means 2, an arithmetic means 5 generates an accurate value of signal E for every synchronization of nf, and the resultant value is supplied to means 2. With this, correlations are obtained for all of polarity signals, thereby being able to carry out high precision line equalization. |
