PURPOSE:To suppress the enlargement and complication of a device capable of synthetic copying and double-sided copying by positively and reversely rotating a developing roller in accordance with the rotating direction of a sensitive body, and rotating an attracting means for attracting toner to the developing roller according to the positive and reverse rotations. CONSTITUTION:A developer in a developing device 208 is circulated in the developing device 208 by stirring paddles 211A, 211B and a stirring roller 210, and carried to a developing roller 209. The stirring roller 210 is provided with a magnet, and attracts and carries the developer on the developing roller 209 after development to the upper part of the developer 208. When the toner density becomes low, a toner supply clutch is on, and an agitator 214 and a toner supply roller 213 are rotated to carry the toner to the developing part. In conformation to a positively and reversely rotatable photosensitive belt, the developing roller 290, the stirring paddles 211A, 211B and stirring roller 21 interlocking thererto, the agitator 214 of a toner hopper part, and the toner supply roller 213 are also positively and reversely rotatable. |
