PURPOSE:To irradiate the photosensitive drum with light having uniform intensity when the electrostatic charging characteristics of the photosensitive drum are measured. CONSTITUTION:Light emitted from a halogen lamp 30 is guided to a filter 51 to pass a specific-wavelength component, which is made incident on a light diffusion plate 50, so that the light which is diffused is made incident on an optical fiber bundle 40. Then the surface of the photosensitive drum 10 is irradiated with the light having the uniform intensity from the optical fiber bundle 40 through a probe 20. |
