<p>PURPOSE:To flatten picture elements and a top coat layer relating to the process for production of the color filter utilized for a liquid crystal panel, etc. CONSTITUTION:Black matrix patterns 3 are formed on a transparent substrate 2 and transparent layers 11 having nearly the same thickness as the thickness of the black matrix patterns 3 are formed within through-holes 8 for a large number of the respective picture elements of the black matrix patterns 3. The many picture elements 12R, 12G, 12B overlapping on the black matrix patterns 3 in the peripheral parts covering the transparent layers 11 are thereafter formed. Further, the top coat 13 is so constituted as to cover the picture elements 12R, 12G, 12B.</p> |
