PURPOSE:To provide a double-sided synthetic copy of high quality having no image slippage by precisely matching the top end of a transfer paper with the top end of a toner image formed on a sensitive body at the time of both going and returning in transfer paper carrying direction. CONSTITUTION:A first matching means 326 for matching a transfer paper top end with the top end of a toner image formed on a sensitive body at the time of a first image recording operation to the transfer paper and a second matching means 319 for matching the top end of the toner image formed on the sensitive body with the transfer paper top end at the time of a second image recording operation which is conducted by reversing the transfer paper after the first image recording, and carrying a transfer part in the opposite direction are separately provided. The first matching means 326 is provided on a transfer paper carrying passage from paper feed parts 307, 308, 309 to the transfer part 313, and the position matching is performed on the basis of a carrying start signal of transfer paper to the transfer paper 313 by the first matching means 326. The second matching means 319 is provided on a reverse paper feed passage 318 to the transfer part 313, and the position matching between the second image and the transfer paper is performed on the basis of a manuscript exposing scanning start signal. |
