PURPOSE:To obtain an information receiver capable of controlling ON/OFF of reception of the information service surely with respect to the information receiver in which the offer of information from the information offer party to the user is accepted. CONSTITUTION:The information receiver is provided with a CPU 1 implementing various control, a display section 3, a reception section 4, a decoder section 5, an ID-ROM 6 and a RAM 7, etc. An identification number for receiving the information service and 1st and 2nd individual identification numbers assigned to each receiver are written in the ID-ROM 6 and when the received identification number is collated with the identification number written in the ID-ROM 6 and they are coincident with each other and the processing for inhibiting the reception is not implemented, the service information cannot be received. When one of the individual identification numbers is received, the processing is implemented in such a manner that the service information cannot be received and when the other of the individual identification numbers is received, the processing is implemented such that the reception of the service information is restarted. Most of the above-mentioned processing is implemented in the control of the CPU 1. |
