PURPOSE:To provide a controller for an output from a solid-state laser, in which the principal cause of laser-output fluctuation can be detected, an excess input to a light source lamp is inhibited, the unnecessary consumption of power is avoided and a stable laser output is obtained in a solid-state laser device. CONSTITUTION:A photodetector 1 detecting the quantity of emission of a light source lamp 7, an operational amplifier circuit 2 for converting an output from the photodetector 1 into a value displaying the amount of light of the lamp, a plurality of output detectors and comparison circuits, and a storage device 15, in which the output value of a power monitor 6 to the voltage currents value of a laser power supply 4 and the quantity of emission of the light source lamp 7 are stored, are provided besides the power monitor 6 detecting a laser output. Accordingly, the factor of the fluctuation of a laser output can be detected, the unnecessary consumption of power, the shortening of the life and damage to the light source lamp 7 due to an excess input to the light source lamp 7, the damage to a solid-state laser device, etc., are prevented, and an output from the solid-state laser device is stabilized. |
