PURPOSE:To obtain an image editing device capable of outputting a high quality image without blurring in the shape of steps by quickly applying a smoothing processing to an area designated by a user. CONSTITUTION:When the user instructs of the smoothening processing, an image processing part 200 applies the smoothening processing to a take-in image indicated on a take-in image display surface 302 within a display 301 of an image display part 300, displays the obtained image on a preparation image display screen 303 within the display 301 and the displayed image is printed and outputted by an image printing part 500. When the user designates an arbitrary area within the image displayed on the image display surface 302 or 303 and selects the smoothening processing, the image processing part 200 applies the smoothening processing only to the designated area. |
