PURPOSE:To enhance workability by providing only a single groove on the surface of a valcanized fluorine rubber so as to simplify the constitution of a sealing member, and finishing a valcanization process of an unvalcanized fluorine rubber in a single stage so as to also simplify the valcanization process. CONSTITUTION:A protrusion 4a which is formed on the surface of an unvalcanized fluorine rubber 4, and the upper part of which swells in a semicircular shape, is fitted into a single groove 3a formed on the surface of a valcanized fluorine rubber 3, and the rubbers 3 and 4 are perfectly bonded together. Next, a sealing member comprising the rubbers 3 and 4 is fitted in a recessed part 1a formed on the sealing surface of a manifold 1, and these are tightened to a cell stack 2. After that, the stack 2 is heated at 120 deg.C so as to valcanize the rubber 4, followed by holding it for about ten hours so as to fix the rubber 4 to the stack 2. In this manner, sealing to the cell is performed while making it easier to confirm the safety of the seal. |
