OPTIONAL WAVEFORM GENERATOR HAVING INTERPOLATING FUNCTION OF INTER-DATA STRING CONNECTION PART

PURPOSE:To suppress the spurious high frequency when a basic waveform is read out and an optional waveform is generated by deciding the window width so as to secure the smoothness approximate to the basic waveform for the waveform which is generated with the interpolation carried out in a set window by a spline function. CONSTITUTION:The data on a basic waveform are previously stored in a waveform memory 5. A sequencer 4 reads the data out of the memory 5 based on the address given to the memory 5 and outputs the data to the outside through a D/A converter 6. Then a window is set at a point (m) around the connection point of the basic waveform based on a window setting program 3a stored in a ROM 3. Then both ends of the set window are smoothly interpolated by a three-dimensional spline function. Thus the generation of the high frequency is suppressed.
