PURPOSE:To prevent such a phenomenon that an object to be photographed becomes out of a viewing angle or out-of-focus from occurring when photographing by remote control is executed. CONSTITUTION:When a composite type position detection means 7 consisting of a pair of position sensors 70A, 70B receives a remote control signal from a remote control signal generation part 6, it starts photographing sequence on a camera 1 side. By a distance and inclination angle detection means for an object in an integrated control part CPU, the distance L of the object is calculated and a first inclination angle (theta) is calculated based on a distance detection signal and a position detection signal from the detection means 7 at the same time. By a photographing visual field range arithmetic means, a second inclination angle (theta) obtained by including a margin area A in the first inclination angle (theta) is obtained and the range of a photographing visual field is set. By a focal distance arithmetic means, a focal distance which can cover the range of the photographing visual field is calculated and a zoom lens is driven through a lens driving means at the same time so as to obtain the calculated focal distance. |
