PURPOSE:To lighten the burden on a driver and effectively assist his or her driving by storing a schedule and automatically displaying even information on the position of a destination, etc., on a map as well as the current position as to the navigation device which displays map information and current position information in the map information and assists the driving of a moving body such as an automobile, etc. CONSTITUTION:The navigation device which measures the current position of the moving body and displays the map information corresponding to the measured current position and the current position in the map information is equipped with a schedule storage means 27 which is stored with plural pieces of destination information including at least the position information on the destination of scheduled movement and information on the time of an arrival at the destination, and a schedule display means 25 which decides the destination information stored in the schedule storage means 27, selects the destination present in the displayed map information, and displays information regarding the selected destination on the displayed map information. |
