PURPOSE:To confirm the presence or absence of the print pattern of the designated character in a desired type style without performing any print job by displaying only the type style that has its print pattern as a candidate for the character whose print type style should be designated when a print type style is designated to the characters. CONSTITUTION:When a type style designation key is pushed, a type style having its print pattern corresponding to a character code is retrieved (S8) based on a print pattern information table corresponding to the code of the character set on a cursor. Then the type style name is written into a type style candidate buffer (S9). These type style names are displayed as the designating candidates of the print type style. Thus an operator selects these displayed candidates. |
