PURPOSE:To secure a new word procedure register area by counting the number of new words which are automatically registered into a new word dictionary, detecting the registering orders of the counted words when the count value exceeds a fixed level, and deleting the new word of the oldest register order. CONSTITUTION:If the conversion candidate desired by a user is not available or the candidate is wrong, the single KANJI(Chinese character) conversion or the HIRAGANA(cursive form of Japanese syllabary)/KATAKANA(square form of Japanese syllabary) conversion is instructed to a conversion part 3 through a keyboard 1. Thus the desired KANJI or KATAKANA, etc., are obtained. An input control part 2 decides whether the part 5 carried out or not the conversion of the single KANJI with the resegmentation of characters, etc. If so, the part 2 starts an automatic new word register part 4 and decides whether the count value of an automatic new word counter part 5 is larger than a fixed level or not. If so, an automatic new word deleting part 6 is started. The part 6 retrieves the registered word/phrase of the oldest order out of a new word dictionary 9 and then deletes the word/phrase. Then the part 4 automatically registers the selected candidate into the dictionary 9 based on the reading secured with input of the candidate. |
