PURPOSE:To make it possible to vary a direction by mutually shifting the time sequence of respective element microphones though the direction of a directional sound collecting device using a microphone array is fixed to the direction vertical to its axis. CONSTITUTION:The directional sound collecting device capable of changing its direction is constituted of converting signals form respective element microphones M into digital signals, forming a time sequence shifted only by time corresponding to the positions of respective microphones M and an angle to be set up by a digital processor such as a computer 4 and executing the weighted mean of the time sequence. The device is provided with plural element microphones M, a multi-channel simultaneous A/D converter 2, the computer 4 or an exclusive digital processor mounting a program 5a for forming a new time sequence by shifting the current time sequence only by a specific time and programs 5b, 5c for a weighted mean and an octave band filter, a D/A converter 6, and so on. |
