The method displays message and status information on a LCD panel of a pager receiver efficiently. It includes a RF receiving section (2), a waveform regulator (3) for waveform-regulating the signal from the RF receiving section (2) digitally, a memory (5) for storing address data and frame data of its own, a microprocessor (4) for controlling the display of data stored, an alarm driver (6), and a status driver (10) for displaying the status of the pager receiver.
