The cable connection has a housing (10), fitted in an opening (9) in a transmission casing (2) wall. The housing is divided by an internal partition wall (18) into an inner bore space (17), which communicates with the interior of the transmission casing (2), and an outer bore space (16), receiving the cable end fitting. The partition wall has a number of individual openings for passage of cable wires (126) which are fitted with stop elements (29) on the outer bore space side of the partition wall. Each has a dia. which is greater than that of the corresp. opening (19). The stop elements are surrounded by a plastics adhesive inserted in the outer bore space. ADVANTAGE - Ensures transmission casing is fully sealed from ingress of dirt and moisture. Increases production efficiency.
