Rotary valve for IC-engine - has four-sided control port in cylindrical jacket, and internal reinforcements

The valve is used to control flow in an IC engine, and replaces a cam shaft. It consists of a cast finished part, and is cylindrical. The valve has a cylindrical jacket, open at the bottom, with a four-sided control window. It has internal cast reinforcements, to achieve the required compression ratio. There is also a central thread, to accommodate the spark plug. The whole forms a rotor device. ADVANTAGE -Reduced operating wear on valve drive.
