PURPOSE:To dispense with the use of motive power of an internal combustion engine, enable cooling at low idling rotation and reduce fuel consumption, by utilizing high-temperature water, which has cooled the engine, to operate an absorption-type cooler. CONSTITUTION:After high-temperature water having cooled an internal combustion engine 1 is conducted to the heater 2 of a gas generator 5, the water is supplied to a radiator 3. An absorption-type cooler is operated by gas produced in a gas generator 5 by the high-temperature water to cause a room cooler to cool a vehicle room. According to this method, the motive power of the engine 1 is not needed to cool the room. The cooling can be effected even if idling rotation is lowered. This results in reducing fuel consumption. |
