PURPOSE:To easily obtain a sharp color image with a good display contrast by joining 1st layer and 2nd layers of a transparent electrode in double-layer structure through plural pinholes formed in a color filter film. CONSTITUTION:The color filter film 6 is provided corresponding to a dot display part 15 and plural pinholes 13 are formed in this color filter film 6. Then, the 1st layer and the 2nd layer of the transparent electrode 5 of double-layer structure on a signal side are joined through those pinholes 13. Consequently, the electric resistance value of the signal electrode becomes the parallel resistance value of electrodes 5a and 5b of the 1st and the 2nd layers and the transparent electrode 5 of the 1st layer is reduced in resistivity by being heat-treated sufficiently before the formation of the color filter film 6, thereby compensating the disadvantage that the electrode 5b of the 2nd layer can not be heat-treated only within the heat-resistance limit of the color filter film 6. Consequently, a uniform driving voltage can be applied over the entire area of a liquid crystal cell and a sharp color display with a good display contrast is obtained. |
