The track system comprises a steel construction defining a track channel, provided by base runners (15), cross members (114), uprights (111), upright reinforcements (112), upper runners (21) and side guide rails (22), attached to the underside of the latter. The upper runners (21) are fixed to the uprights (111) via longitudinal welding seams and are additionally secured by plates (113) attached to the upright reinforcements (112) on the opposite side to the uprights (111). Pref. the side guide rails (22) are only attached to the upper runners (21) after these are welded in place. ADVANTAGE - Eliminates need for cross welding seams between upper runners and upright reinforcements.
