Inscribing hologram with markings - using laser beam to produce localised breakdown in transparent metallised foil in hologram

The inscribing method is especially used in holograms of a diffraction grating structure with metallised transparent foil. An embossed pattern is formed in the foil which is bonded to a carrier material. The hologram surface may be personalised by producing an identification pattern or signature in the structure. This can be generated with the aid of a laser beam used to break down the surface in a controlled manner. USE/ADVANTAGE - For identification and authentication purposes. Allows hologram to be personalised.
