A method for the production of modular panels with an upper covering of tile in a ceramic, stone or similar material that consists in the stages of preparation of a flat supporting part 2 generally made of wood or other inert material, the formation, along the whole circumference of the support, of a retaining edge 7, the application of a layer of adhesive material 8 to the upper surface 5 of the support 2, depositing on the support a number of tiles 6 placed side by side so as to form gaps 9 between them and with at least one of their sides in contact with the edge 7, placing in the gaps 9 so produced a flexible filler 10 to press the tiles against the abovementioned edge 7. The finished panels produced by the said method have a very precise shape and size and a high aesthetic value of the visible surface. <IMAGE> |
