The sports shoe (1), esp. a cross-country ski-boot, has an outer sole (2) covered with a similarly shaped insole (6). The soles are joined along a connecting part (20) forming the shoe upper (3). The outer sole is made of elastically deformable, rigid plastics possessing torsional strength and has two lengthwise bars (7, 8) parallel to the outer side of the sole and between which is a groove (9) matching the lengthwise side guide-bar (10) on the top (11a) of the ski (11). The insole is made of flexible material for a part (13) corresponding to the toe, and of rigid material for a part corresponding to the heel. USE/ADVANTAGE - The sports shoe/boot has an outer, torsionally strong sole, which, with the insole, enables the foot to have a good rolling motion.
