Electrophotographic photoreceptor has a conductive substrate with a light-sensitive coat contg. a styryl cpd. (I) with enamine structure of formula (I), A and B = (substd.) ar(alk)yl or 14C alkyl and one of these may = H; R1-2 independently = (substd.) ar(alk)yl, a (substd.) heterocyclic gp. or 1-5C alkyl and R2 may also = H; a = H or an electron donor gp.; n = 1, 2 or 3 and, if n = 2 or more, a may be the same or different or combined to a ring. USE/ADVANTAGE - The photoreceptor has high sensitivity and durability and excellent stability under varying conditions of temp. and humidity. It also have favourable charging property and can be charged repeatedly without problems such as loss of photosensitivity.
