New benzo[b]thiophene derivates have formula (I), in which R<1> and R<2> are identical or different and stand for a lower alkyl residue; X stands for hydrogen and Y for a group -Z-(CH2)nCO-R<3>, wherein Z stands for a valency bond, a sulphur atom or a group NOH; R<3> stands for a hydroxyl group, a lower alkoxy group, a group (a) or a group (b), or, when Z stands for a group NOH, for a lower alkyl residue; n is an integer from 0 to 4 or X and Y represent together a residue =CH-CO-R<3>, wherein R<3> has the above-mentioned meaning. Also disclosed are the physiologically acceptable salts of these derivates, a process for producing the same and medicaments containing these derivates for treating allergic diseases, as well as inflammatory bronchospasmodic and bronchoconstrictive reactions. |
