The invention concerns a telecommunications device with a data- and/or fax-transmission modem which generates dial signals from data supplied by a computer, and with a speak/listen device which, together with the modem, is connected to a telephone line. In order to be able to operate the telephone remotely, the device in the telephone which generates the dial signals is fitted with an interface which is connected to the standard interface of a personal computer. Stored in the personal computer is a programme for the transmission of data representing at least dialling date, the programme being executed via the standard interface. |
