PURPOSE:To execute a software debugging processing without a manual operation by reading information stored at every stepping of software at the time of executing a diagnostic instruction stored in a service processor without the aid of an operator. CONSTITUTION:A diagnostic controller 1 provided with a diagnostic control software means 3, a local memory 2 and a register group 4 are connected to a service processor 7 through a diagnostic interface 5. The processor 7 is provided with an input/output control part 10 controlling the input/output of information of a console 11 and an output device 12, and a diagnostic instruction issuing part 8 issuing the diagnosis instruction inputted from the console 11. A diagnosis instruction execution part 6 executing the diagnostic instruction from the service processor 7 is provided for the diagnostic interface device 5. A means stepping a software instruction and a means storing information in the specified area of the local memory 2 sampling it at every stepping are provided for the diagnosis instruction execution part 6, and the input control part 10 fetches information stored in the local memory 2 and outputs it to the output device 12. |
