PURPOSE:To copy character strings between different modes without using a magnetic recording medium in a device having plural mode having respectively different character input systems. CONSTITUTION:A character string range of a copying source in the 1st mode is specified by a specifying means 21, the character code of the specified character string is converted and stored in a storing means 22. Then the 1st mode is switched to the 2nd mode by a switching means 23 and the copying destination of the character string in the 2nd mode is specified by a specifying means 24. Then the previously stored character string is read out, copied to the specified copying destination and redisplayed. |
