<p>PURPOSE:To perform a speed switching without destroying the contents of a program and to suitably perform a timer recording by switching the recording speed during the gap in a program prior to the last position of a low speed mode switching when timer recording at a standard record mode and the remaining time of the recording medium becomes low. CONSTITUTION:A microcomputer 1 receives the signals from a timer 3 in which a recording is set by a key 2 and the signals from a supply side reel FG5 of a tape 4 and a take up side reel FG6 and computes the amount of tape remained and during a timer recording, controls a servomechanism circuit 8 of a tape driving motor 7 based on the time till the end of a recording and the amount of time remained in the recording media. If the amount of time remained in the tape 4 is not sufficient, the recording speed is switched to the low speed mode in the commercial section which is earlier in time than the last position of a speed switching.</p> |
