<p>PURPOSE:To obtain images with fidelity to a source image and high quality while eliminating 'crash' and 'thinning' even when mixing the source image requiring high resolution and the other source image at an image printer or the like. CONSTITUTION:The image processor to execute binary image recording is equipped with plural 1st-3rd line memories 2a-2c connected in multiple steps to store images respectively inputted in a preceding clock for the unit of a line, plural 1st-3rd count circuits 1a-1c to count the black-and-white picture element ratios of image signals outputted from these respective line memories 2a-2c, adder circuit 3 to calculate the total sum of outputs from these respective count circuits 1a-1c, comparator circuit 4 to compare the output of this adder circuit 3 with a reference value set in advance, and shaping circuit 5 to adjust the time width of the image signal based on the compared result outputted from this comparator circuit 4.</p> |
