PURPOSE:To improve the processing speed of 'KANA' (Japanese syllabary)/'KANJI' (Chinese character) conversion registering processing. CONSTITUTION:When a host computer 1 is started, a 'KANA'/'KANJI' dictionary file loading program 9 loads a 'KANA'/'KANJI' dictionary file 8 stored in a magnetic disk device 4 to a main memory in the computer 1. In the case of executing 'KANA'/'KANJI' conversion processing, registering order updating processing and new registration processing, a 'KANA'/'KANJI' dictionary file refererence/updating processing program 10 refers to and updates the file 8 loaded to the main memory in the computer 1. A 'KANA'/'KANJI' dictionary file save processing program 11 saves the file 8 updated by the program 10 to the magnetic disk device 4 based upon a save command. |
