PURPOSE:To improve the formation efficiency of a data base by converting a normal document formed in a document forming mode into a data base data and inputting the converted data in a document forming device provided with a data base function. CONSTITUTION:A document formation control part 3 executes document formation and edition processing or the like based upon an input from a keyboard 1. Document data formed by the control part 3 or document date read out from a floppy disk 9 are stored in a document data memory 11. The document data stored in the memory 11 are read out to a character data converter 12 under the control of a data base control part 4 and converted into a data base character code. A data conversion control part 13 controls data conversion from a normal document to data base data and outputs the character code converted by the converter 12 to the control part 4 to store the character code in a card data memory 15. |
