<p>PURPOSE:To realize the orthogonal converter without the rapid increase of the circuit scale by comparing the total data of the intra-block total data output circuit with the prescribed value and switching the orthogonal conversion method in the vertical direction. CONSTITUTION:The orthogonal conversion is performed by inputting data taking a reference signal as a reference from a picture input signal terminal 1 to a first DC conversion circuit 2. The data is inputted to an intra-block total data output circuit 3 and the total sum is obtained by taking the differential data of odd-numberred and even-numberred field, making the total value 4. The absolute value output signal 6 is obtained by an absolute value circuit 5. Then the motion detection is performed by comparing the signal 6 with the prescribed value 7 in a comparison detection circuit 8. Performing whether the intra-frame or intra-field orthogonal conversion is switched by the control signal of the circuit 8, and the orthogonal conversion in the vertical direction is performed by the second orthogonal conversion circuit 9. Thus, the orthogonal converter can be realized without the rapid increase of the circuit scale.</p> |
