PURPOSE: To obtain an error mask of a simple method by allocating a zero amplitude to a sample bit where a control signal is generated by an error correcting means on a reception side and extrapolating a scale factor. CONSTITUTION: A mask means 35' consists of part of a CPU 51 and memories 61 and 62. If an error occurs to frame data bits stored in a memory 59 through a multiplexer 50, an error flag of a control signal is applied from a terminal 46 and the CPU 15 sends a write signal and an address signal to set the amplitude of bit data of the frame data multiplied by a multiplier 60 to zero. Similarly, if an error occurs to the scale factor, extrapolation with the scale factor of a last frame stored in the memory 62 is performed to obtain the error mask of a simple method which requires neither a memory nor a mean circuit because of no interpolation.
