PURPOSE:To realize a speed pattern for driving a pulse motor different from a conventional one where the pulse motor is driven in the order of start - acceleration - constant speed (high speed) --deceleration - constant speed (low speed) - stop because this speed pattern can not be applied on a head moving motor in a disc medium tester where the moving amount is very small and the number of pulses is very low. CONSTITUTION:A pulse motor is started at a starting time point t1 with high speed 3500pps and that speed is sustained. Deceleration is started at time point t2 when the number of remaining pulses is lower than 12 and when the speed reaches a final speed of 1200pps at time point t3, that speed is sustained and the pulse motor is stopped at time point t4 when the motor arrives at a target position. Consequently, short time movement can be realized by eliminating the accelerating region and low vibration stoppage can be realized by performing deceleration only at the time of stoppage. |
