PURPOSE:To provide an electrophotographic recorder by which high definition recorded content equal to that of a printer is obtained and the recorded content of good image quality is obtained at high speed. CONSTITUTION:This recorder is provided with a photosensitive body 7 held by a drum 1 which rotates at specified speed, an exposing device which exposes the photosensitive body 7 with a laser beam, and one laser beam generating device 2 and 5 and performs recording in an electrophotographic system. Other laser beam generating devices 3, 5 and 6 for generating the laser beam of short wavelength are provided, and the exposing device is driven by the laser beams from the devices 3, 5 and 6 first, the rotating speed of the drum 1 is made lower than specified speed to form a permanent latent image on the photosensitive body 7, then the exposing device is driven by the laser beam of one laser beam generating device 2 and 5 and the rotating speed of the drum is restored to the specified rotating speed so as to temporarily form the latent image. |
