PURPOSE:To display a validity of a scramble decoder in which scramble decoding is attained only for a period decided by the reception contract and the propriety of scramble decode. CONSTITUTION:A control microcomputer 11 compares and discriminates a validity when scramble decode is available based on message information including validity data outputted from a scramble decoder 6 and a current date and time by a timer 10 and outputs a display signal 23. Then a display section 12 implements display based on the display signal. Furthermore, the control microcomputer 11 discriminates the display of the propriety of scramble decode based on data outputted from the scramble decoder 6 and outputs a display signal 22 when scramble decode is disable. Then the display section 12 implements display based on the said display signal.
