PURPOSE:To attain dialing while placing a slave set on a charging base by selecting a loudspeaker mode in the case of charging state when a talking operation is implemented. CONSTITUTION:When a talking key 36 of a slave set 2 is operated and a control circuit 41 detects the operation, the control circuit 41 detects whether or not the slave set 2 is charged based on an output of a charge detection circuit 40 and the control circuit 41 sends a hand-free signal when being charged and controls a speaker changeover circuit 32 which is to be thrown to the position of a loudspeaker 30. Then a main control circuit of the master set controls a voice path changeover circuit to connect a reception circuit, a transmission circuit, a hand-free circuit and a network circuit. When a ten-key 35 of the slave set 2 is operated, the control circuit 41 of the slave set 2 sends a dial number data and the main control circuit of the master set controls a dial circuit and sends the dial signal to a telephone line. Thus, while the slave set 2 is placed on the charging base, when the talking key 36 is operated, hand-free talking is attained. |
