PURPOSE:To make the installation work of a terminal system to be efficient and to make a worker unnecessary by transferring environment definition processing information peculiar to the terminal system at the time of installing a master system on a remote installation method in a computer network system where a management system and the terminal system are connected by means of a communication line. CONSTITUTION:In the computer network system where the management system 1 and the terminal system 2 are connected by the communication line 3, environment definition processing information peculiar to the target terminal system 2 is made into a catalogue and it is prepared for the management system 1. An environment definition processing catalogue 6 as to the target terminal system 2 is simultaneously transferred at the time of installing a master system 5 for the target terminal system 2 from the management system 1.
