PURPOSE:To improve a feeling of control over automatic performance by making the tempo and beats of the performance clock of the automatic performance follow up the timing of the tempo and beats of the timing signal of tap input, performance information, etc. CONSTITUTION:A tempo clock corresponding to the performance clock of the automatic performance is outputted. The position of a predetermined beat of the tempo clock is generated as a prediction clock. A prediction clock corresponding to a timing signal which is inputted next while the tempo clock is counted is set. When the timing signal is inputted, the difference between the current prediction clock and the counted value at the time of the input of the last timing signal is subtracted by the input time interval between the current timing signal and last timing signal. This division result is made to correspond to the speed of the tempo clock. |
