PURPOSE:To reduce the number of times for dispatching a clerk of a financial institution by removing the temporary stoppage of an automatic cash transaction machine due to the hold of a left passbook, and the troublesome of a user's waiting for the clerk or going to the financial institution later due to the collection of the left passbook. CONSTITUTION:An automatic cash transaction machine 30 is equipped with a stack mechanism 9 which stacks the passbooks one by one left at a passbook handling device 31 mounted on the automatic cash transaction machine 30, so that the left passbooks can be stacked. The information from the user is obtained from a transaction control part 32, and a card transaction mechanism 33 according to the returning request of the user, the left passbook is specified by collating the obtained information to the data concerned with the left passbook, and the passbook is returned from the stack mechanism 9 to an insertion port 1. |
